★★★★★ "Atkins does a phenomenal job of transporting the reader from modern California straight into the raw, dangerous reality of the 1860s American West. The descriptions of frontier mining camps in Atlanta, Idaho, and Glendale, Montana, are so vivid and meticulously detailed that you can practically feel the mountain chill and the grit of the gold rush."

What if you were given one chance to protect the legacy that made your life possible?

When Stuart Atkins inherits a nineteenth-century clock and a gold pocket watch, he is drawn into the American West of the late 1800s.

There he meets his great-grandfather, Elias C. Atkins, whose journey through the mining towns of Atlanta, Idaho, and Glendale, Montana, will shape generations to come.

But the past is not safe.

As danger closes in, Stuart must protect the man whose future legacy includes his own life.

What begins as a journey into history becomes a test of faith, courage, and the choices that echo through generations.

A Personal Note from the Author

This story was inspired by my own family history, real places, and heirlooms passed down through generations.

It’s a story about where we come from—and what we choose to do with that legacy.

Some journeys cross distance.

Others cross time.
